Macbeth, a Scottish nobleman, encounters three witches who prophesy his future.

They address him in three ways: first, as his title, the Thane of Glamis. Second, as the Thane of Cawdor, a title he will soon inherit by King Duncan’s decree.
And finally–as the future king.

Spurred on by his ambitious wife, Macbeth murders King Duncan to seize the throne. Consumed by guilt, he spirals into madness, committing more murders, marking the beginning of his downfall.

Uncover the destructive effects of political ambition and how greed, guilt, and paranoia turn Macbeth from a nobleman into a bloody tyrant.
